This a beautiful fingerstyle guitar version of a classic Christmas carol. It's in "Drop-D" tuning and I actually have two different solos in this tab, as well as the backup for the mandolin solo. This can be played as a duet with the mandolin, or you can use the two solos as a solo performance.

Anybody have a tip for the left hand stretch in here? My pinky is not cooperating.

Try it without the pick for a few passes. Sounds silly but it told me my right hand was doing too much.

Memorization comes from playing it at a tempo you can think at. If you need the tab, you're playing it faster than you know it.
